God instituted the home in Genesis chapter two. He created man and woman, brought them together in marriage and instructed them to be fruitful and multiply. We all are in different stages and have ad different experiences when it comes to the home and family. You may be a child, a teenager, a single adult, a single mom, a widow or widower, a divorcee, an empty-nester, a grandparent or still in the midst of raising children. In reality, we all need to know what God has to say about the family. So, as we begin this series of messages and workshops, let’s consider the lives and families of Abraham and Lot. Their choices and goals resulted in two very different life and family outcomes. May God help us to learn from their examples so that our families can be enriched.
