The God of “How can this be?” (Luke 1:26-38)

In your life you will face times where you say to yourself, “How can this be?” Sometimes this will be because of a good you scarcely imagined possible other times it’s because of tragedy. Sometimes the trust required to believe in the good mingles with a terrible fear of the potential of tragedy. The birth of Jesus, the Christ, was like this.
