THE GOD OF NEW BEGINNINGS

Scripture "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." – Isaiah 43:19 (KJV) Devotional Message Life is full of transitions—seasons of joy, times of challenge, and moments when it feels like doors have closed permanently. Yet, our God is the God of new beginnings. He specializes in opening fresh chapters when it seems the story is over. The Lord declared through Isaiah that He would “do a new thing.” Notice, He didn’t say He might do it; He said He will. This is the assurance that no matter your past failures, disappointments, or delays, God has the power to usher you into a season of renewal. Perhaps you are facing a “wilderness” moment—dry, lonely, and uncertain. God promises to carve out a path where there seems to be none. Maybe your life feels like a desert—barren and fruitless. God says He can cause rivers to flow, bringing life and abundance. New beginnings are not just about external changes; they start in your spirit. When you believe God is doing something new, you align yourself with His promises and position yourself to see them manifest. Today, Ask Yourself: Are you holding onto old disappointments or past seasons that may be preventing you from embracing the new thing God wants to do in your life? Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being the God of new beginnings. I release every past hurt, failure, and disappointment into Your hands. Open my eyes to see the new things You are doing in my life. Make a way for me in the wilderness and let rivers flow in every desert area.
