The God of Unapproachable Holiness

Isaiah 1-12 | Isaiah: A Vision of Two Cities | Trent Hunter With this sermon we begin a new five-part series through the book of Isaiah, A Vision of Two Cities. The Book of Isaiah includes a number of familiar lines. For example, it was Isaiah who said of Christ, “they will call His name Immanuel,” and that the Messiah would be “crushed for our iniquities.” But who was Isaiah and what was the whole of his message? Hearing these familiar lines in the context of the book’s overall message will add depth to our gospel and strength to our witness. The Book of Isaiah can be broken down nicely into five parts, and so we will work through Isaiah in five sermons.
