The God Portal: Sirius, Freemasonry & Order of the Solar Temple

What if the brightest star in our night sky was viewed as more than a star—but as a gateway to the divine? In this episode, we follow the strange esoteric trail of Sirius, the Dog Star, from ancient Egypt and Anubis into Freemasonry, Theosophy, and the occult teachings of Helena Blavatsky and Alice Bailey. Albert Pike explicitly connected the Masonic Blazing Star with Sirius, Anubis, and Mercury as “Guardian and Guide of Souls,” while later Theosophical teachings described Sirius as the location of a “greater Lodge” connected with initiation. We trace the symbolism of the Dog Star, Anubis, the Blazing Star, Ascended Masters, the Great White Lodge, initiation, and the mysterious “Ring Pass-Not” to ask what these traditions actually believed Sirius represented—and why the same celestial symbolism keeps appearing across different mystery traditions.
