The God Who Hears and Knows

Pain can make God seem distant, especially when prayers appear unanswered. Moses acts to defend his enslaved people, but they reject him; their violence shows that harmed people can also harm others and resist God's rescue. Yet Israel's cries rise to God, who hears, remembers His promises, sees, and knows their suffering.
