The God Who Keeps His Promises (Ruth)

In this message, we step back into the beloved story of Ruth and discover why it was written and why it still matters so deeply today. Set in a time of national chaos, personal loss, and spiritual darkness, Ruth reminds us that God is quietly at work even when circumstances feel overwhelming. Through Naomi’s grief, Ruth’s faithful love, and God’s provision through Boaz, we see a powerful testimony: the Lord keeps His promises. This teaching traces the story from famine and despair to redemption and hope, showing how God used ordinary, faithful people to accomplish His extraordinary purposes. Ruth’s place in the lineage of King David ultimately points us to Jesus—the promised King who came and who will come again. If you are walking through uncertainty, loss, or questions about where God is in the midst of it all, this message invites you to lift your eyes from circumstances and rest your heart in the faithfulness of a promise-keeping God.
