We’ve learned that Christmas is about the God who is, about the God who loves and about the God who gives. Now we come to consider the present itself. We look at the last part of our verse so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. We often use the words belief, or faith. Perhaps the best way to translate this is to use the word trust. I receive what God offers me by trusting in Jesus.
