Nina Paley is a car-free recumbent riding self described animator, director, artist and scapegoat. She is a woman who doesn't fit neatly into any of our preconceived categories and that is exactly what makes her so interesting. We talk to her about her distaste for automobiles, her large collection of recumbent bikes (including a velomobile), why she rides, her bike mechanical abilities, a bike exorcism and the possibility of her creating an animated history of golden age of recumbents.
