The Golden Altar | The Tribulation | March 23, 2025

In the sermon "The Golden Altar," Pastor Shane Farmer explores the symbolism of the golden altar in Revelation 9, focusing on the sixth trumpet and its connection to the prayers of the saints. The altar, representing God's desire for communion with His people, marks a pivotal moment in the apocalyptic narrative as it signals the release of four angels and the ensuing devastation. We reflected on the importance of continual prayer and reliance on God's mercy, as the altar also symbolizes God's faithfulness in answering prayers and the public testimony of our dependence on Him. By examining the altar's significance in Scripture, the sermon encouraged believers to seek God earnestly and deepen their relationship with Him.
