Faith leaders confront Jesus and ask what should be done with her. The scene reads like a set up. But Jesus flips the script by writing some things in the sand which cause these righteous leaders to drop their stones and walk away. None is left to accuse her except Jesus, who offers her forgiveness and the chance to start again. God's justice is generous and no matter our station in life, we all are in need of God's forgiveness, mercy, faithfulness and justice beyond what we deserve but God lovingly offers.
