The Good Person - Audio

In this sermon for the Six Sunday after Pentecost, Pastor Chris explores what it takes to be a good person. First he establishes that we must base our ideas about being a good person--our ideas about morality--in God. God made us, he knows what brings life. Therefore, we must took to him if we are to be a good person. Second, establishes that we don't try to become good people on our own. Instead, it is the Holy Spirit living in us that empowers us to be good people. Finally, from the teachings of Jesus, Pastor Chris shows that being a good person come down to whats inside of us rather than our actions. To be good people we must have a good heart.
