Suddenly, we aren't in a quiet meadow; we are right in the thick of the spiritual, emotional, and mental battlefields of life. This sermon will explore the jaw-dropping imagery of a Sovereign God setting up a royal banquet right in the middle of a war zone. While the enemy surrounds you, threatens you, and hurls arrows of anxiety, fear, and shame, the Good Shepherd does something unexpected: He commands the battlefield to pause, pulls out a chair for you, and serves a feast.
