A green weed pushing through concrete pictures the freedom Christ has already won. Christians must stand firm, because trying to earn God’s favour through law keeping trades grace for fear, guilt and slavery. Their unfinished lives do not cancel God’s acceptance. Through the Spirit, faith eagerly awaits the complete righteousness God will bring, while resting in His love now.
