The Gospel According to Matthew: The Second Coming - Matthew 25:31-46

Alone with His disciples on the Mount of Olives, Yeshua begins to share the events surrounding His Second Coming. His disciples had asked Him to tell them, when shall these things be? What shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world? The questions they asked Him were in response to the teachings He had done and His remarks about the destruction of the Temple. Yeshua had warned them about false messiahs, false prophets, those who would mislead many, and signs to look for that would herald the end of the age. He had informed them that no one knew the day and the hour of His return and commanded them to always be prepared and ready. Yeshua used a parable about virgins and another parable concerning talents to emphasize the importance of His disciples being prepared, watchful, and doing what they had been instructed to do while they waited for His return. Throughout His discourses with His disciples, Yeshua gave them glimpses of events surrounding His Second Coming. In this portion of Matthew, Yeshua reveals more details of the events that will occur at His Second Coming.
