The Gospel in Flesh - Fr. Micah - June 27, 2021

from Holy Trinity + Holy Cross - Sermons · host Holy Trinity + Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral

Today in the Orthodox Church is the Sunday of All Saints. On this day we commemorate all the saints who ever lived and most especially the ones who lived without any recognition of their sanctity. In today’s message Father Micah shares with us his love for the Saints and encourages us to live a transformed life in Christ. The Greek word for saint, agios, is translated holy. The Saints were holy because they preserved their gift from God by following in His footsteps and living lives of gratitude, love, humility and joy. The Saints are known as the Gospel in the flesh and have been given a foretaste of heaven.
