In Episode 13 of The Truth Simply Put with PAV, Alexander Victor begins a focused look at the power of the Gospel by opening Romans 1:16 and pressing a vital question: what exactly did Paul mean when he said, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of CHRiSt, for it is the power of God unto salvation”? This teaching shows that the Gospel is not mere religious information, emotional inspiration, or a message for a narrow class of visibly broken people. It is God’s message for all men, and it reveals the very measure of what God is able to do in CHRiSt.   This episode also opens up Paul’s language with greater weight. To say he was “not ashamed” of the Gospel was not simply to say he was bold enough to preach it. It was to say he had staked his full confidence, honour, and eternity on its truth. He was fully persuaded that the Gospel would vindicate everyone who trusted it because the Gospel is not fantasy, not speculation, and not religious hype. It is the active revelation of divine ability.   PAV shows that the Gospel is called the power of God because it is the declaration of what God is able to do. God’s power is not being measured here by spectacle, force, or outward wonder, but by salvation.
