The Gospel Made Tangible - Fr. Micah - July 12, 2020

from Holy Trinity + Holy Cross - Sermons · host Holy Trinity + Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral

The Saints in Orthodox Church are part of the never-ending Gospel. Orthodox Christians are comforted in knowing the Saints are not only alive but show us love. Today on May 12th we commemorate Saint Paisios, a contemporary saint in The Church. Father Micah shares with us how the saints although seldom seen or heard are a continuation of the Gospel. He gives special importance to contemporary saints, those whom we have seen, touched and even photographed. From his personal experience with Saint Paisios, Father Micah expresses to us how this Saint has revealed himself to him as well to many others who knew him and were touched by his words. The Grace that flowed from this beloved Saint can be unlocked by three keys which include gratitude, humility and love for Christ and neighbor.
