Love Must Come from a Sincere Place. 1 Peter 1:22 “Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere (Philadelphia) love for each other…” Brotherly Love (Philadelphia) means to actively show God’s love to each person equally. Love Must Come from the Heart . 1 Peter 1:22b “…love one another deeply from the heart.” “Deeply” means without slack, not letting up, to be fully outstretched, to reach deep.
