Welcome to Fellowship City Sunday Worship!

We start a new season in the book of Mark.

Mark’s Gospel is concerned with presenting Jesus as the promised Messiah, the King, the Son of David, who is rejected by the religious authorities and calls his followers to radical discipleship in the kingdom of God.

Mark uses the word “euthus”, often translated to “immediately,” 41 times to emphasize Jesus taking prompt actions to rescue anyone who believes in Him.
The book is beautifully summarised in this key verse in Mark 10:45, “The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

In this first episode titled the "Beginning", we look at verse 1 of chapter.

Let's learn together.

Text: Mark 1:1
