The Gospel | Pastor B
from United Pursuit Church Hosted by United Pursuit Church
A growing crisis exists in the church today, and it centers on whether people have truly received the authentic gospel of Jesus Christ. Many are living with a false sense of security, having responded to a counterfeit version of the gospel that lacks the power to save. The real gospel, as Paul outlines in 1 Corinthians 15, is rooted in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. True belief is not merely head knowledge but a heart-level conviction that transforms how a person lives, what they love, and what they pursue. Following Jesus comes with a cost, including sacrifice, suffering, and a willingness to be set apart from the world. The fruit of a person's life reveals whether their faith is genuine, and the Holy Spirit will not leave a true believer comfortable in sin. If your faith feels uncertain, that discomfort may be the Holy Spirit calling you toward something real. Do not ignore it.
