The government's emergency prepper guidelines to citizens, another fire in Novo Nordisk, the 'hand shake' scandal in a Jutland school and why the Danish football team refused a salary raise

This week on The Danish Connection, we discuss the Danish government's prepper guidelines to citizens (and the panic they are causing), another fire in Novo Nordisk, the 'hand shake' scandal in a school in Jutland between a Maths teacher and students, and why the Danish football team recently refused a salary raise. All of this, plus our cultural tips to distract you from the fact that it feels like we are back in November weather. This is our fourth episode in our six episode pilot period with The Copenhagen Post - the only Danish news outlet in English - and we feature a lot of their stories in this episode, as well as stories from Information, Politiken and DR. As always you will be able to find this episode on Spotify, but now you can also access it on Apple Podcasts and on The Copenhagen Post’s website - just click the link in bio to find it! This is your place to share enquiries, opinions and tales of the immigrant experience in Denmark - and we want to hear from you. Pop us a DM on Instagram or via email [email protected] and let us know if you have a story you would like to contribute. If you liked this episode and think it would be useful for someone you know - please share it with them!
