You need milk, not solid food! INSPIRATION: I want to use these verses above to underscore very important things amongst believers today. One is the wrong belief that having the Holy Spirit makes you all-knowing. Knowledge is progressive and dynamic. New discoveries occur daily that could make yesterday's knowledge outdated. Destruction awaits anyone who feels to big to learn (Prov. 11:9b). Anyone who thinks he's above learning has set himself up not only to fail but to die. Once curiosity and the teachable instinct leaves you, you'll no more be clear-minded. Wisdom is not defined by grey hair but by the level of applied knowledge. Knowledge comes from learning and practice. No one practices what he hasn't learned! The level of limitations ignorance builds around you is better imagined than experienced. One is the plateau effect that's evidenced in the gradual decline in your effectiveness. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭Learning is the life of creative people. There's no age limit as to who can learn and what can be learned except for pride! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please clothe me with the garment of humility, a teachable spirit and the willingness to learn. Flush every myth about learning from me and deliver me from wrong assumptions about knowledge. I receive grace to learn the right things, and the will to practice what I learn daily, in Jesus name.
