2 Corinthians 4:15; 2 Corinthians 8:9    “For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.”  2 Corinthians 4:15   Grace and gratitude are inextricably connected.    Grace and Gratitude . . .   ·         There is no expression of gratitude without experiencing grace.  o   Grace:  unmerited; undeserving favor “ . . . so that as grace extends . . .” (v. 15)   o   As I experience His grace, I respond with true gratitude.  “ . . . it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.” (v. 15)   Responding to Grace . . .   ·         Grace-giving toward others is the outward expression of gratitude to an all-gracious God.  (2 Corinthians 8:1-7)   o   God has lavished His love and grace on me not to keep to myself, but to lavish on others. §  As I do, I point to them to the love and grace of Christ.   The Gratitude Effect . . .   When I live a life of gratitude, it makes much of the grace and glory of God in a culture in need.      Making It Practical . . .
