ABA helps children with autism learn new skills - those might include communication skills, daily living skills, social skills, and many more. ABA is not a one size fits all treatment. Each program is specially designed to suit the needs of the individual child. Each child has a team of a single Behavior Analyst and often multiple Behavior Technicians that provide the day-to-day & one-on-one therapy.  The job of the behavior technician can be incredibly rewarding but it can also pose a lot of challenges. This is the position that we see has the highest turnover rate and is the most impacted by the ‘great resignation’.
