Jiaoying is joined by the Dr. Drew, the most loved doctor in the world. Dr. Drew give Jiaoying the greatest therapy of her life. He explains that he needs to know more about her upbringing to understand her trauma, so she opens up to the world about her dark sad secrets. Jiaoying opens up  about her dad being an alcoholic, and the traumatic memories about her relationship with him growing up. She talks about  much much she resented being around her father’s mistress. Dr. Drew explains to Jiaoying what is essential in all relationships. She goes on to talk about her relationship with her ex-husband and the very difficult divorce. Dr. Drew helps Jiaoying understand why she uses comedy as a coping mechanism and how her trauma has made her the hardest worker.
