Michael Fassbender (Prometheus, X-Men: First Class) portrays an engineer who is sent to investigate wind turbines built off the coast of Ireland that are mysteriously being destroyed. He begins to encounter the local residence including an eerie mystic played by Eartha Kitt who sends a warning: don't build on the sacred land. From visionary genre director Neill Blomkamp comes a film that brings awareness to the dangers of man's destructive effects on the environment called "THE GREEN EFFECT".
