THE GREEN FIELDS a 1958 classic theme song by the Easy Riders
from Poesía con voz -Emiliano Martín- Podcasts
"The Green Fields” is an original song written, composed, recorded, and performed by the authors themselves. Three members of the Easy Riders, who in 1957-58 were popular with the new music in the American scene. Now, their song is a historical good theme from those days. Although the authors of the song, Terry Gilkyson, Richard Dehr, and Frank Miller, did a good job, it was one year later that The Brothers Four, a new and younger musical group with an elegant style and clean-cut voices and guitars, made the song an international hit, and ever since, the tune has become a classic in American culture. The lyrics of this historical song are recited by Emiliano Martín for the listeners of Poesia con Voz.
