The Grifters (1990)

It is inevitable that we will have the entire Fisher family on at this point. This week, we have Jake's doppelganger, Noah. Noah is a very talented artist in his own right, and we just want to drop a little link to his Instagram, @noahmfisher, if you'd like to see his work. Noah, noeyman, The Glow Pt 3. We have an academy award-nominated work this week, but the grittiness/shock value of this 1990's film seems to have dissolved over the last 30 years. It does mark John's first collaboration with Stephen Frears, and despite the mundanity of the plot, he utilizes John's drifter charm to lighten things up.
