After a year of tanking, Memphis was able to take a potential cornerstone to build around. After selecting Cam Boozer, the adventure for Grizzlies fans continued as the team traded down, eventually landing at the 21 spot where they selected Karim Lopez, a 19-year old Mexican forward.
