Luna accompanies a deer hunter named Ray Garman into the Ozark backwoods, where a blood trail leads them not to a wounded buck but to something that has been waiting in the dark a long time. A story about what happens when the thing you're hunting starts hunting back — and the terrible debt that can pass between generations.
