She is an advocate for those living with CMD. Avery is a New Jersey native and also has congenital muscular dystrophy. Avery is a dancer and was the first wheelchair user to perform at THE radio city music hall in New York City. Kelly and Avery are both part of the nonprofit organization Cure CMD, which is an organization centered around advocating for those affected by CMD and the general disability community. Kelly and Avery also advocate for those with disabilities on Capitol Hill!
