"A friend in need is a friend indeed" is what we have been told all our lives. But I believe it is more complicated than that. Or should I say simpler? I believe a friend indeed exceeds the confines of one who supports 'a friend in need.' Don't roll your eyes just yet! Hear me out :) A genuine friend is someone who celebrates your triumphs, validates your emotions, and challenges your perspectives. They're the ones who show up not just when you're struggling, but also when life is thriving (more of the latter than the former if I am to pick:p). They're your partner in laughter, your confidant in tears, and your compass in uncertainty. And how do we identify our friends indeed and nurture those meaningful connections?
