We're right in the middle of Quebec's construction holiday, which means thousands of families are heading to campgrounds and backcountry sites across the province. Camping is one of our favourite summer traditions, but whether you're a seasoned camper or trying it for the first time, a few simple precautions can make the difference between a great getaway and a trip that goes sideways. One of Canada's best-known outdoor experts, Kevin Callan, better known as The Happy Camper, spoke to Ken Connors.
