While the work was cathartic, she felt it was somehow missing the mark. Then, one night, the idea for the Healing Hands Project descended whole. She envisioned an immersive, restorative experience that combined art, music and film. The project would focus on one main question: “How can we find peace despite hardship or loss?”Four non-traditional healers collaborated on the project, contributing their deep personal wisdom gained over a collective 100 years of practice. For the next 5 years, Laurie embarked on a spiritual and creative journey to explore the art of finding peace.
