The healing power of the sea

Since its founding 13 years ago, the surf-therapy non-profit organization HaGal Sheli, "my wave" in Hebrew, has offered opportunities for diverse populations to find success through transformative experiences with the sea.  The organization runs educational and therapeutic programs tailored for at-risk youth, trauma survivors, and individuals with disabilities from all corners of Israeli society. Since the October 7th attack, there has been increased focus on trauma rehabilitation programs for those affected by the war. A special benefit event to support the organization's activities will be held May 20th at the Tower of David in Jerusalem.
