However, she is also a health data researcher herself, and on the 5th of June, she will defend her dissertation at Leiden University called A Fair Balance.This is a topic we love to discuss – health data and how sharing it is important for the advancement of medicine and health treatment, but the disparities on how data is treated globally is not ideal for research purposes.
