The Heart Determines How You Hear

Do you ever wonder why sometimes time spent with God through the Bible brings lasting change and satisfaction in your life while sometimes it does not? How is it that in times of public teaching of God's Word some respond while others do not? After all, didn't they hear the same thing? Why is it that people express commitment to follow Jesus on Sunday but then fall away later in the week? Jesus provides insight and answers to these questions today as we study his teaching and God's truth in Luke 8:4-15. I pray God will give us all hearts that are always ready hear and receive His Word.
