The Heart of Repentance

How do we repent of sin? What does it look like? Will God receive our contrition? These are all valid questions any believer could ask. We do still sin after being saved by the blood of Christ. And that sin brings distance in our relationship with Him. How does that get restored? David describes that to us in his sorrowful words in Psalm 51. He shows us what it looks like to repent in a way that God accepts. As Christians we should draw great encouragement from a psalm brought about by such sin. For we are great sinners, but Jesus is a great Savior.
