The Heart of the Matter - Part 57 - Philippians

from Messianic Torah Observant Israel · host Steve Berkson

Continuing on the journey through “The Heart of the Matter” Rabbi Steve Berkson begins this lesson in Philippians, chapter 4, verse 6, where the apostle Paul says, “Do not worry at all, but in every matter, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Elohim.” We learn from this lesson that as we do what Paul said to do we are exercising our belief/trust, emunah, in The Father. Then we will experience the peace, shalom, that is beyond our human understanding, because it’s the peace that can only come from Him. He says that again in verse 9, which again is ‘discipleship language’, as He says to practice these things and the Elohim of peace shall be with you. This teaching is totally full of sage wisdom about personal relationships and how to deal with yourself and others according to Torah.Don't miss out on new teachings every week.
