The Heart of the Problem: When Religion Isn’t Enough | The Book of Matthew: The King and His Kingdom | Matthew 14:34-15:20 | Pastor J.M. Lee

This week at Mission Church, Pastor J.M. Lee continues our series in the book of Matthew with a powerful message from Matthew 14:34–15:20. In a world where outward religion often substitutes for real relationship with God, Jesus reminds us that what defiles a person is not what’s on the outside—but what comes from the heart. Are we settling for clean hands while ignoring an unclean heart? Are we trusting in routines, traditions, and performance rather than Jesus Himself? In this sermon, we see that Jesus doesn’t just expose the problem—He offers the only solution: a new heart, cleansed by grace and transformed by His Spirit.Mission Church www.missionlasvegas.com.
