In this episode of our Battle for Truth series Jeff Futers talks to Melissa Briggs, an experienced Hebrew Teacher who lived in Jerusalem, then England, and now lives in Nashville with her husband, children, and foster children. Melissa is passionate about making the riches of the Hebrew language accessible to everyone. She is also an Ambassador for Christian Friends of EMUNAH Israel - a charity that supports the orphans and most needy children in the Holy Land.In this interview, Jeff and Melissa discuss how the Hebrew language has a practical application in our lives as we seek to have a godly response to current events. You don’t have to be a Hebrew scholar to benefit from learning the powerful original meanings of key Hebrew words that are central to our Christian faith. As we mark the one-year anniversary since the brutal Oct. 7th massacre, it’s important to remember that day – to honor the lives and stories of the many victims and survivors.
