The Help We Need

When it comes to living the Christian life we can be led astray by out thoughts and feelings. The bible teaches that we are to be reminded of the facts of our faith so we don’t act on our feelings. Today as we continue our series through the book of Romans, Pastor Jeff is underscoring the realities of being dead to sin and alive in Christ. This truth doesn’t mean that we will never struggle with sin or temptation, but that by faith, we understand that Jesus has removed sin’s power over our lives. The enemy of our soul wants to keep us ignorant and living in a place of fear so he can control us, but Jesus has set us free and given us access to His supernatural, transformative power! For us, that means we can win the struggle over sin!
