Nic Wallace  was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer in his spine. Nic researched ways to heal it and when medical  professionals told him the cancer was very rare, he took it on himself to heal. Through medications, treatments, surgery and alternative modalities he held off progression for some time. He beat the odds and the prognosis timeline the doctors gave him. His journey left him having tumor involvement in the spine and bone creating pain and mobility challenges. His strength and perseverance led him to the gym, he incorporated yoga and Jiu Jitsu to help heal and move better. A few years later Nic’s cancer came back and progressed rapidly.  Nic ,recently married, has progressed to hospice level care. He and his wife have moved in with his mom Krishna.  As a mom of a dying child, she openly shares her journey in caregiving and helping her son during the end of life. She shares her experience and strategies for dealing with the challenges and “how to” be there for him in the most difficult times. Her perspective and mindset may help others faced with similar experiences. She opens up about her grief and emotions during this difficult journey.
