The Hidden Cause of Our Suffering

Have you ever gone to the doctor with an ailment and the doctor starts asking all sorts of questions? Maybe it was a sore patch of skin or a cough that wouldn’t go away? You were hoping for a quick fix after a few days of following the doctor’s orders and taking the prescribed medicine. However, as the doctor probed further, he or she found an underlying cause of the problem. This Sunday we are going to start a new series on the Book of Job to gain a theology of suffering and we will specifically learn the underlying cause of most of our problems.  May our eyes be open to the reality of our situation as we study Job 1:1-12!
