He was many things to many people fighting for the rights of his people and leading the way to freedom and recognition for the Metis Nation. We go back to the 1800’s and discuss his Mother’s homestead, Julie Riel, and where the house still sits today on River Rd – which is a National Historic site and is a tourist destination through Parks Canada.
