The History of the WNBA

Today on The Ride we take a look at the history of the WNBA and the founding players who helped shape the league into what it is today. The league was founded i n 1996 and began play in 1997 as the women's professional basketball league in the United States. In this episode we will look at the growth of the league over the years with teams relocating and rebranding.
