The History of WCW Road Wild

from Behind the Gorilla Wrestling Podcast

Season 2 Episode #16: The History of WCW Road Wild In August of 1996 WCW started it's rise to become the biggest wrestling company in the world. The nWo had just started and everything was hot. But Eric Bischoff decided it would be a good idea to go into the middle of nowhere in Sturgis, South Dakota and host a PPV at the world's biggest motercycle rally in a parking lot for free admission. The quality of life was terrible for the wrestlers, most were unhappy and the work rate suffered. So naturally they went back three more times.
