The Holy Spirit Brings Life, Inclusiveness and Encouragement - 1 Corinthians 14

All it takes is a reading of 1 Corinthians 14 verse 1 to point out a spiritual lacking in my life. Paul encourages the Corinthian church to "eagerly desire spiritual gifts". This seems odd when one considers the obvious abuses the Corinthian congregation had in regard to "self elevation" and particularly the boasting regarding who had the greater gifts etc.Join me in looking at this passage as we continue to consider the work of God's Holy Spirit in our lives. I believe that as we become more eager to join in the Holy Spirit's agenda, we become a little more focused on bringing about God's will on earth as it is in heaven.
