The Holy Spirit Convicts and Comforts

In the Holy Spirit, Jesus sent us an advocate to both convict and comfort us. Conviction often seems harsh, doesn't it? The Holy Spirit will convict us of things that need to change in our lives, but he does it for our good, to draw us closer to Jesus. In the midst of that conviction is also the Spirit's comforting power. He's the one who is able to comfort us in every season of our lives, to be with us when things get hard and we need someone to lean on. The Holy Spirit has the power to transform our lives, for our good let's listen to his conviction and allow him to comfort us.
